The DEI  Module connects to the door lock / unlock outputs from the aftermarket alarm, remote starter or keyless entry or remote start system CPU. The Interface Module  will then convert these CPU outputs into known signals that can be understood by the vehicle's Data Bus System. The Interface Module's output is a  one-wire connection to the vehicle's data bus wire at the Diagnostics Connector, located at the bottom of the dash with a cover on it., on the driver's side.

  • Databus Interface Module for select GMC/Chevrolet 2002-2005 vehicles such as Chevrolet Trailblazer and GMC Envoy
  • Provides easy interfacing with a remote starter and the vehicle's factory alarm system, while maintaining the integrity of the factory system.
  • Converts signals from alarm, keyless entry, and remote start systems into signals that can be understood by the vehicle's databus.
  • Controls door lock operations: locking, unlocking, and driver's door only unlocking.
